My name is Micheala Palmer. I am a first year international student from Jamaica. I am not alone to say I miss the tropics but TACSU is the next best thing. I am aware of what is expected of me for Director of Events and I am motivated by the challenge of finishing the projects timely and the encouragement of an inclusive team. I am a personable, passionate, and resourceful individual. This post requires someone who is bold to seek needed information, work under pressure, level-headed and approachable. I believe I am the suitable fit. Participating in Afrobana and enjoying every minute, I want the opportunity to feel the gratitude and joy of the community after such a successful event. I am currently a student health promoter, and active member of Trent Visual Arts Network and UNICEF Trent. Through working with my executive team, extensive research on potential patrons and activities will be completed as your opinion is crucial; collaboration with regional groups and campus services; and maintaining an annual presence of the events that were heavily attended. With the pride and creativity I place in my hairstyles to lift my spirit, I want too to make the members and the community happy.
